  • Restrictions

Keeping our customers safe is our number one priority. If your child is allergic to one or more of the most common allergens, the Dragon Dining Lunch Account systems will block dishes containing that allergen(s) to ensure the dish or product isn't sold to your child.

The default spending limit on items such as sandwiches, onigiri, baked items and drinks is ¥1,000 per day for elementary students and ¥2,000 per day for middle and high school students and adults.

Set lunches are not included in the spending limits to avoid the situation where a student will use money intended for lunch at break time.Spending Restrictions can be changed anytime by logging onto your Lunchbox account > My Family > Spending Restrictions.

Lunchbox accounts are “pre-paid,” which means that funds should be added to accounts before purchases are made.

All purchases made during the current and previous calendar month will be viewable online.

Accounts balances that fall below ¥0 will only be able to purchase a set lunch.

No other items will be available.

    How it Works

Parents tick the allergens that their child suffers from during registration. This can be modified anytime by logging onto your account.

The system pro-actively blocks choices containing the allergen(s) meaning parents can order with confidence.

Items that contain the child’s known allergens are shown on the touchscreen at checkout.

We operate as a peanut free company

    2

    Dietary Restrictions

Parents can notify us of their child’s dietary requirements, whether religious or medical and these are noted on the system. Vegetarian options are always catered for in addition to the meat or fish choice.

We will also be mindful of accompaniments and ensure to vary vegetables and starchy accompaniments to ensure a balance of vitamins and minerals.

    3

    Block Transactions

The system will block any transaction that will cause the account balance to go below - ¥2,000 so please look out for the automatic emails you will be sent warning of account “Low Balance”

If you place any restrictions on your account, please ensure you speak with your child about your expectations.

  • Activating your Lunch Account
